Downtown Market Street Grill to close after nearly 50 years: Market Street Grill & Oyster Bar announced it will permanently close its downtown Salt Lake City location on June 30, ending a nearly 50-year run in the historic New York Building. The restaurant has long served as a gathering place for residents, business leaders and visitors in the city core. The company's Cottonwood Heights and South Jordan locations will remain open.
