Since 1991, Seattle Chocolate Company has been crafting joy in chocolate form, ethically sourced, locally made, and always a little unexpected. Today, the factory buzzes with creativity as it produces both Maeve and jcoco, two brands that share one mission: to make the world a little brighter, one bite at a time.

Guests can explore picture-perfect photo ops featuring Maeve’s most-loved designs, shop exclusive merchandise found only at the factory store, and sample the latest creations. For those who want to take their adventure deeper, a behind-the-scenes tour reveals where the sweetest stories begin.

Enter The Factory Guests begin their tour with a shot of rich, melted chocolate, the perfect way to set the mood for what is to come. Afterward, they learn about the origins of cacao and the journey from bean to bar, exploring how ingredients, sourcing, and craftsmanship come together to create every piece of chocolate.

Then it is time to head up to the mezzanine overlooking the factory floor for a behind-the-scenes view of live chocolate making. Below, the Seattle Chocolate team brings Maeve and jcoco to life as bonbons are filled, bars are poured, and silky ribbons of chocolate twist and swirl through the machines, each one part of a story that begins with a single cocoa bean.

Chocolate Ambassadors share how the chocolate comes together, from inspiration to creation, while guests take in the sights, sounds, and sweet aromas that fill the air. Every tour ends on a delightful note with samples of favorite and seasonal chocolates, a perfect taste of the world they just discovered.
