Pump House Concerts

The Orchard Street Pump House is a city owned, neighborhood managed community center. Built by the Works Progress Administration, in the 30s as East Lansing's water pump facility, it was converted to its one room configuration in the 80s. Use of the building is free, with priority given to East Lansing residence. The room can seat approximately 50 people, and table and chairs are available. Limited parking is also available. There is no bathroom at The Pump House, but some users choose to rent one for certain events. Current users include concerts, movies, yoga and dance groups, birthday parties, graduation open houses and even weddings. A great option to explore during down time between sports events.
