Sounds & Sights Festival is an annual summer weekend event in historic Chelsea, Michigan. The event started over three decades ago and is a highlight of summer that draws visitors from all over the state and beyond. The two-day, three-night festival features live music and social tent, kids' entertainment and activities, a classic car show, and much more. The mission of the Chelsea Area Historical Society is to gather and preserve the history of the Chelsea area for future generations. CAHS endeavors to properly collect, manage, display, and maintain area artifacts, archival information, photographs, genealogy records, and oral histories of local citizens. Through their museum and organization events, CAHS provides historical education opportunities for residents and visitors.
