Named after a historical figure from our area’s past, Ole’s Outpost is named after Ole Peterson. He was an eccentric and reclusive man who lived on Mt. St. Helens (aka Loowit!) near the present-day town of Cougar, WA. He was known for telling tall tales, and we hired artist Kyle Shold of Freshwater Bay Creative to design a custom mural depicting our favorite tale he was known to tell. Ole’s Outpost will feature a large selection of your favorite Loowit beers, as well as wine, cider, and select beers from our fellow Northbank brewery friends. We’ll also be debuting a brand-new menu, so be sure to come in and check everything out!

This 5-acre park is located in the North Image Neighborhood of Northeast Vancouver just south of Fourth Plain Boulevard. The park opened in 2021 and features a unique playground where visitors can interact with dinosaur-themed play equipment and dig for fossils in the sand. Hours: 5 a.m. to 10 p.m. Nikkei (pronounced NEE-kay) is a Japanese word used to identify the community of Japanese emigrants and their descendants. The name was selected by neighbors through a park naming survey. The name Nikkei Park was chosen to honor the Japanese American truck farmers who grew crops in the area before World War II. Truck farmers were a vital part of the local food supply. By 1930, 47% of truck farmers in Clark County were Japanese American. During World War II, Vancouver's Japanese American farmers were forcibly removed from their homes and sent to "internment" prison camps. Nikkei Park remembers the families that experienced great injustice and honors their legacy with a place that is filled with beauty, joy and a sense of belonging.

USTA PNW NTRP Sectional Championships

Established in 1904, the USTA Pacific Northwest is one of 17 sections of the United States Tennis Association, the governing body of tennis. Based in Beaverton, Oregon, the USTA PNW is a 501c3 charitable nonprofit organization whose mission is to promote and develop the growth of tennis in the Pacific Northwest.  Operating in Alaska, Washington, Oregon, and northern Idaho USTA PNW over 25,000 individual adult and junior members and over 200 organization members and providers, such as tennis facilities and community tennis associations, who also help us to promote the sport.
