Lansing Sports Commission

Nestled alongside the Red Cedar River the MSU Alumni Memorial Chapel provides the perfect backdrop for special events and offers weekend services open to the public. The chancel with its pipe organ, pulpit, choir benches and altar provides a setting appropriate for worship of any faith. Dedicated in 1952 the Chapel comfortably seats 190 guests. Wharton Center for Performing Arts is committed to building stronger community through the arts and human connection. Our stages offer a diverse array of performances, including the best of Broadway, comedy, concerts, dance, plays, and family shows. Wharton Center is conveniently located on the campus of Michigan State University and has available parking within steps to the theatre. A great option to explore during downtime between sports events.

Rediscover the wonders of the universe at Abrams Planetarium. The sky theatre features fantastic star shows produced by a digital star projector. The planetarium also serves as an astronomy and space science education resource center. A great option to explore during down time between sports events.

Students and faculty present a series of main stage and student productions annually, ranging from the classics to contemporary fare and including musicals and repertory dance concerts. MSU Department of Theatre

Visitors can observe milking procedures every afternoon on MSU's dairy farm. Visit the farms of beef cattle, dairy cattle, sheep, horses, poultry (chickens and turkeys) and swine. Allow approximately 30 minutes for each farm. A great option to explore during down time between sports events.

MSU Barns - University Farms / Animal Science Dept

Offers year-round bicycle rentals, sales and repair services to the campus community and visitors. A free 24-hour air station is also available outside the Center. A great option to explore during down time between sports events.

MSU Bike Service Center

The Michigan State University campus provides 3 intramural athletic facilities offering sports surfaces of all kinds. The facilities are close to one another and numerous parking opportunities are available at all three sites. Spectator capacity varies depending on the sport, however; as the facilities are designed for student use, the overall space committed to spectator seating is minimal. This facility is accessible. It offers an outdoor sand volleyball area and an indoor track. This facility is great for tournaments and special events.

The MSU Horticulture Gardens are actually a family of three gardens: The 4-H Children's Garden is designed especially for children, and is completely handicap accessible. This delightful garden features over 55 themed gardens including the Pizza Garden, Peter Rabbit Herb Garden, Butterfly Garden and ABC Garden. You can also enjoy the Tree House, Creation Station, Amphitheater, Monet Bridge, and the Dance Chimes. There is also an Indoor 4-H Children's Garden with an additional 20 theme gardens where during March and April we host "Butterflies in the Garden." School programs are offered all year long and there is a full schedule of family programs during the summer. A great option to explore during down time between sports events.

Mitten Kitten 2026 Slash Up XIII

Join the **Midwest Fall Brawl Lacrosse Tournament**, the premier lacrosse showcase for boys and girls teams in the Midwest. Hosted at the state-of-the-art Hope Sports Complex in Lansing, Michigan, this **October 10–11, 2026** event features high-energy competition across divisions from U10 to Varsity.&#x20;

Boys divisions play three guaranteed games on October 11, while girls divisions compete in 8v8 small-sided matches concluding by 2:00 PM on October 10, perfect for homecoming festivities.&#x20;

Midwest Fall Brawl Lacrosse Tournament

The **2nd Annual Comet Classic** is a collegiate bowling tournament hosted by The University of Olivet.  This one day event taking place at Royal Scot Golf & Bowl will feature approximately 30 teams.
