Candy Cane is a 7.0 acre neighborhood park located in the northwest corner of the community. This park has one baseball field, tennis courts, play equipment and picnic facilities. Little League games are held at Candy Cane over the summer.

Formerly The Convocation Center, The GameAbove Center at Eastern Michigan University is located on the west campus. Built in 1998 as part of a campus upgrade initiative, the center is a 204,316 sq. ft. structure that features three user-friendly levels including arena, concourse and office.

The center also boasts versatile seating configurations that allow clients to maximize space usage. Ideal for concerts, commencements, family entertainment, conferences banquets, trade shows and athletic events.
