Meinert Park

Tucked away at the north end of Muskegon County, about 64 miles northwest of downtown Grand Rapids, Meinert Park offers a peaceful escape and breathtaking views for beachgoers and outdoor enthusiasts.

Sitting on 182 acres of forested dunes, the park provides scenic overlooks with spectacular views of Little Flower Creek and the Lake Michigan shoreline. Adventurous visitors may hike to the top of the parabolic dune for a panoramic view of Lake Michigan and the surrounding countryside. A campground with full hookups is a short walk (approx. 2,000 ft.) from the beach.

Parking permits are required from the first Friday in May until the last Sunday in September. Purchase your daily ($5) or annual ($20) pass at the Meinert Park Office.
