As a full-service sports commission, we will work with you on every aspect of your event, as dedicated to its success as you are. Located in the heart of Michigan, Greater Lansing is convenient to reach and easy to navigate. From intimate business meetings to full-scale weddings and receptions, LBC is a unique backdrop for gatherings of all kinds. You won’t need to worry about planning the details of your event — we’ve got a dedicated events team and top-tier service staff to ensure your event runs smoothly. Our largest space, the Stockhouse, can hold up to 240 guests, and our smaller room, The Brewers Meeting Room, can hold up to 44. Tiny Bit of Wood, located in Downtown Lansing, is a first-generation woodworking school.

Environmentally conscious wood art and furniture. Locally sourced lumber obtained from tree service companies and/or naturally fallen trees. 100% of the lumber used is gathered, cut, dried, and sculpted in this one-woman woodshop right here in Lansing, Michigan.

Woodworking classes are based primarily on hand tools and are meant for everyone. A fun and affordable way to explore this age-old trade.

Tiny Bit of Wood

Private sessions are open to anyone and everyone! Choose from any of the workshops the school has to offer and book today. Don't see the project or topic you are hoping for? Feel free to email me with what you want to learn or make. If I can figure out how to make it into a class, I will!

If your group is larger than 9 people, let me know, I have options for up to 18 people in a two-topic class. 9 people will do one build 9 people will do the other. Not all projects are available for this option 30+people rent out the shop venue and the Art Bar!

We're open for the 2026 season! River Town Adventures is Lansing’s premier paddling and bike rental source! Join River Town on one of Lansing’s rivers, lakes or trails and experience nature and the city in a new way, either by kayak, canoe, paddle board or bike! A great option to explore during down time between sports events. Reservations encouraged and a credit card is required for deposit.

Mitten Kitten 2026 Slash Up XIII

Join the **Midwest Fall Brawl Lacrosse Tournament**, the premier lacrosse showcase for boys and girls teams in the Midwest. Hosted at the state-of-the-art Hope Sports Complex in Lansing, Michigan, this **October 10–11, 2026** event features high-energy competition across divisions from U10 to Varsity.&#x20;

Boys divisions play three guaranteed games on October 11, while girls divisions compete in 8v8 small-sided matches concluding by 2:00 PM on October 10, perfect for homecoming festivities.&#x20;

Enjoy on-site vendors, certified officials, and direct access to college recruiters with recruiting packets available. Ideal for teams seeking top-tier competition and exposure in a fast-paced, well-organized tournament environment.

Midwest Fall Brawl Lacrosse Tournament

The **2nd Annual Comet Classic** is a collegiate bowling tournament hosted by The University of Olivet.  This one day event taking place at Royal Scot Golf & Bowl will feature approximately 30 teams.
