Lansing Sports Commission

During the Spring of ’97 Beggar’s Banquet expanded and opened an elegant room we have come to call “The Gallery”. This private room is the perfect setting for any social or business function. We can accommodate a formal dinner to cocktail parties or anything in between. Beggar’s Banquet offers private event hosting in our elegant Gallery Room — ideal for social gatherings and business functions alike.

The Gallery accommodates up to 50 seated guests or 75 for standing receptions and features a full-service bar along with available AV equipment, including a projection screen and television.

Conveniently located within walking distance of Michigan State University and the East Lansing Marriott, and just minutes from the Capitol, Beggar’s Banquet delivers exceptional food, attentive service, and a memorable event experience.

The menu is simple, consisting only of 4 choices of hot chicken tenders, sliders or both. Tenders are served on white bread, while sliders are served on buns with pickles, house-made "kale slaw" and a chipotle mayo sauce known as Dave's Sauce. Customers are offered the choice of 7 different spice levels for their chicken, ranging from "no spice" to "reaper" (which requires the customer to sign a waiver). Sides include french fries, cheese fries, mac & cheese and "kale slaw." Dave's also offers vanilla, chocolate and strawberry milkshakes. All Dave's Hot Chicken locations are certified halal.

Mitten Kitten 2026 Slash Up XIII

Join the **Midwest Fall Brawl Lacrosse Tournament**, the premier lacrosse showcase for boys and girls teams in the Midwest. Hosted at the state-of-the-art Hope Sports Complex in Lansing, Michigan, this **October 10–11, 2026** event features high-energy competition across divisions from U10 to Varsity.&#x20;

Boys divisions play three guaranteed games on October 11, while girls divisions compete in 8v8 small-sided matches concluding by 2:00 PM on October 10, perfect for homecoming festivities.&#x20;

Midwest Fall Brawl Lacrosse Tournament

The **2nd Annual Comet Classic** is a collegiate bowling tournament hosted by The University of Olivet.  This one day event taking place at Royal Scot Golf & Bowl will feature approximately 30 teams.
