Burchfield County Park is 540 acres of natural beauty and recreation space. The park and natural area feature canoe/kayak trips on the Grand River, summer nature camp for kids, weekend swimming, disc golf, playgrounds, picnic areas and shelters, an extensive boardwalk and fishing docks on the pond, sand volleyball, softball diamond, and six miles of hiking trails and 12 miles of mountain bike trails. Winter brings cross country ski trails, ski rental and sledding hills. A great option to explore during down time between sports events.

Lansing Sports Commission

Located just south of Lansing, Holt High School offers a well-maintained, wide-open outdoor facility equipped for a number of athletic tournaments and events. While nestled away in the quiet up-and-coming area of Holt, this facility is only minutes away from South Cedar Street, offering entertainment, dining, and lodging of all kinds. The main field at this facility offers bleacher seating for over 500. The baseball and softball diamonds offer bleacher seating for under 100 spectators. There is ample on-site parking with a capacity for over 500 vehicles. Main baseball and softball dugouts are covered and fenced. The facility is handicapped-accessible. Two electronic scoreboards and playing field lighting all outdoor fields.Capability for full concessions.Easy access to water. North campus is also available. Holt High School can accommodate; baseball, softball, basketball, volleyball, badminton, soccer, tennis, football, fuseball, futsal, floor hockey, gymnastics, wrestling, martial arts, cheer, stunt, dance, roller derby, and more. This facility is great for tournaments and special events.

Holt High School

We host all kinds of corporate events, banquets, special occasions, and parties. We offer several different spaces to make a perfect fit for your occasion. Our main banquet room seats up to 200, smaller party rooms up to 32, or our outdoor pavilion can easily host your event. Take advantage of the golf course with a small golf outing before or after an occasion. Our small party rooms feature a private entrance with a lobby, a room that can seat up to 32 guests with an adjoining room that can be used for a buffet or an additional guest area. These rooms are perfect for luncheons, showers, small parties, open houses or any smaller gathering.

Ironwood Links Golf Course

One of the best golf deals in the mid-Michigan area. MSU graduate Frank Theroux’s design for this gem incorporates executive-style yardage with country club conditions. Bentgrass tees adorn this beautiful layout. Ironwood Links offers some of the lowest greens fees you will encounter in the Lansing area, making it a popular golf destination for local residents and visitors. Join the **Midwest Fall Brawl Lacrosse Tournament**, the premier lacrosse showcase for boys and girls teams in the Midwest. Hosted at the state-of-the-art Hope Sports Complex in Lansing, Michigan, this **October 10–11, 2026** event features high-energy competition across divisions from U10 to Varsity.&#x20;

Boys divisions play three guaranteed games on October 11, while girls divisions compete in 8v8 small-sided matches concluding by 2:00 PM on October 10, perfect for homecoming festivities.&#x20;

Midwest Fall Brawl Lacrosse Tournament

The **2nd Annual Comet Classic** is a collegiate bowling tournament hosted by The University of Olivet.  This one day event taking place at Royal Scot Golf & Bowl will feature approximately 30 teams.
