The Visit Sacramento Sports Commission leads the recruitment and hosting of major sports events across the Sacramento region. The National Collegiate Water Ski Association (NCWSA) National Championships is the premier annual competitive event for collegiate water skiing in the United States. Established in 1979, the event brings together the nation's top collegiate teams to compete for national titles in a festival-like atmosphere.

This 3-day event at Bell Aqua Lakes will include 24 teams with each team comprised of 5 females and 5 males competing in the three core event disciplines of slalom, tricks, and jump.
