The Historic Covington House, established in 1848, is the oldest house in the State of Washington, and was originally owned by Richard and Charlotte “Anne” Covington, schoolteachers who had come to the Pacific Northwest to operate a boarding school for the children of the Hudson Bay Trading Company. As a charming piece of Vancouver, Washington, the house and surrounding grounds are available for rent.

Kiggins Bowl serves as the home stadium for the Fort Vancouver Trappers, Hudson’s Bay Eagles, and Skyview Storm. Kiggins Bowl is the most unique stadium of all the Greater St. Helens League Stadiums. It was built in 1933 and was named after then Mayor J.P. Kiggins. The Vancouver Trappers started playing football games there in 1946.

This wooded 16-acre park is located along Burnt Bridge Creek and features a baseball field, softball field, and disc golf course. One of Vancouver's oldest parks, Leverich Community Park was first dedicated in 1931.

Leverich Community Park is just east of I-5 and north of 39th St. in the heart of Vancouver. The disc golf course starts with the first tee near the south parking lot. The course includes 12 holes that wind throughout the beautiful rolling and wooded topography of the park.

This scenic, multi-use trail covered in crushed rock connects Discovery Loop Trail at Leverich Park with St. James Road. The trail follows Burnt Bridge Creek through the historic Bonneville Power Administration gardens (circa 1920s), passes the manicured grounds of the JD Ross Substation Complex, and meanders through a forested area in the Minnehaha Neighborhood.

Formerly known as Ross, this is DOGPAW's flagship dog park. Located next to the BPA Ross Substation, this site is almost 12 acres of open fields and hills. The park entrance is located at the NW 15th St end in the lower section of the park. The upper NE 18th St entrance is for handicapped users only. IKE Memorial Dog Park

This .5-acre neighborhood park is located in the Rose Village Neighborhood of Northwest Vancouver just south of I-5. The park opened in 2022 and features a space-themed playground. The park is named after Ida Bell Jones, a matriarch of the post-World War II African American community in Vancouver. Born in 1908 outside of Blackwell, Arkansas, she moved to Vancouver at age 34 to follow the economic opportunity created by the newly opened Kaiser Shipyards in 1942. Ida Bell Jones and her family settled in the area now known as Rose Village. She was quick to establish roots in both Vancouver and North Portland and was a founding member of the Vancouver Avenue First Baptist Church in Portland and active in the Vancouver branch of the NAACP. Her community building efforts to create trusted networks of support on both sides of the river made it possible for Black families to find work and establish roots in Vancouver, despite the racism and discrimination they faced. Ida Bell Jones died in 2018, at the age of 109. She was known for her warm smile, positive attitude and acceptance for all people who crossed her path. \*Photo by City of Vancouver

USTA PNW NTRP Sectional Championships

Established in 1904, the USTA Pacific Northwest is one of 17 sections of the United States Tennis Association, the governing body of tennis. Based in Beaverton, Oregon, the USTA PNW is a 501c3 charitable nonprofit organization whose mission is to promote and develop the growth of tennis in the Pacific Northwest.  Operating in Alaska, Washington, Oregon, and northern Idaho USTA PNW over 25,000 individual adult and junior members and over 200 organization members and providers, such as tennis facilities and community tennis associations, who also help us to promote the sport.
