That has been the goal of Re-POP Gifts since its inception in 2015. Owners Millie & Barry Hilgert are self-proclaimed nerds. The store reflects their passion for pop culture, nostalgia, local art, and their off-beat sense of humor. 

Taking center stage are the prop replicas, crafted to look screen accurate for the perfect photo op. Here you’ll find a full scale TARDIS that doubles as a dressing room, Captain Kirk’s command chair with green screen to transport you to the bridge of the Enterprise, a taste of the Shire with Bilbo Baggins’ hobbit hole, Platform 9 3/4 and luggage cart, a Stranger Things installation, and doors from Sherlock, Friends & Monster’s Inc, you’ll also find a vintage Tron arcade machine (currently out for repair), Idaho’s only Zoltar fortune teller, and a staircase made of giant book spines. Barry is the prop master and is always planning and building the next attraction, stay tuned for new features!

For shoppers, the store is filled with an eclectic mix of pop culture goodness with an added dash of Boise/Idaho pride. Millie curates a mix of merchandise from over 30 local artists, several regional & national artists, and complements the handmade with commercially licensed products such as clever socks, toys & games, kitschy gifts, life sized cardboard cutouts of your favorite characters, and much, much more.

From Bigfoot to unicorns and from Harry Potter to Super Heroes, you’re sure to find something unexpected.
