A former gravel pit, Fox Science offers a rare opportunity to explore the geology of the region. Ancient table-sized glacial boulders of granite, tillite, gneiss, and limestone are scattered around the base of the former pit. Keep your eye out for fossils in the limestone boulders.

Ann Arbor Sports Commission

About 3/4 of a mile of river shoreline makes up the entire southern edge of this little gem, and almost all of the property is forested with both rich floodplain forest and drier mature uplands. Start exploring and you'll find some surprises tucked into the woods: sunny little sedge meadows, two prairie remnants along the railroad tracks, and a stone tepee ring that was built by the former owners.

Located within the state Natural Rivers Protection Zone, this land has been a wildlife area since 1980. While a popular destination for fly fishing, bird-watching and nature study, the property is valuable from a historical perspective as well. Portions of an old mill dam and race provide evidence of the sites former use and are an important reminder of the water-powered past of local area industry.

Burns-Stokes Preserve

Wing Farms was founded in 1852 by James Wing. Over 150 years and 5 generations later, the farm is still going strong. Owned and operated by Kevin Wing, the farm is comprised of 205 acres, including the homestead.Over the years, the farm has held herds of sheep, cattle and dairy cows. Today, corn, soybeans and rye are the main crops – along with our famous Giant Pumpkins. Enjoy a hayride to the pumpkin patch, visit the animals, and browse our selection of pumpkins, gourds, corn stalks, and other fall decorations.

The B2B Trail is a 42-mile, 10-foot wide, ADA accessible, paved pathway consisting of 6 different trail corridors that connect you to cities, parks, and many destinations throughout Washtenaw County, Michigan. Everyone is welcome!

### Chelsea-Stockbridge

The completed trail within the Chelsea-Stockbridge Corridor is 4.7 miles of rolling, road-separated, non-motorized trail that roughly parallels M-52 between Werkner Road and North Territorial Road.

### Dexter-Chelsea

This scenic 2.1 mile segment of the B2B Trail runs parallel to the railroad and Dexter-Chelsea Road between Freer Road and North Lima Center Road. Trail users will enjoy a private, mostly flat segment with beautiful farmland views. This segment connects with the city of Chelsea where visitors can enjoy plenty of dining, entertainment, and shopping options.

### Hudson Mills Metropark

This Border to Border Trail corridor connecting downtown Dexter to the Hudson Mills Metropark is 4.58 miles of rolling, non-motorized pathway that lies between Main Street and North Territorial Road. Visitors will experience a rural landscape in a park setting featuring riverfront views, woodlands, and scenic prairie environments.

This Border to Border Trail corridor connects downtown Dexter to the Dexter-Huron and Delhi Metroparks, following the Huron River toward Ann Arbor. Visitors will experience a rural landscape in a park setting featuring riverfront views, woodlands, and scenic prairie environments.

### Ann Arbor Corridor

This scenic 5.6 mile segment of the B2B Trail travels along the Huron River as it passes through the City of Ann Arbor. Visitors will cross pedestrian bridges and meander through scenic parkways as they pass through some of Ann Arbor’s most popular recreational spaces.

### Ypsilanti Corridor

This 11.67 mile segment of the B2B Trail features the sights and sounds of Ypsilanti with gorgeous views of the Huron River and Ford Lake. This segment passes through the heart of the city where visitors can explore local college campuses while enjoying vibrant shopping, dining and entertainment options.

**A Historic Washtenaw County Story Map**

On August 26, 1920, the United States ratified the Nineteenth Amendment, finally granting women the right to vote across the country. This map highlights some historic sites here in Washtenaw County connected to suffrage activities leading up to the passage of the Nineteenth Amendment. Suffrage means the right to vote.

Dexter-Huron Metropark is a heavily wooded 122-acre park with picnicking facilities along the Huron River.

Get out into nature and experience the rich ecosystems along the Huron River. The dense woodlands, open fields and gently flowing waters are home to a variety of unique plants and animals. Spend the day picnicking, biking, fishing, paddling the Huron River or enjoying the labyrinth.

Play equipment, fishing, restrooms and baseball diamond. Three picnic shelters are available and can be reserved. Metropark vehicle entry permit required.

Social Vines is a new vineyard and winery located between Dexter and Ann Arbor, set on a 70-acre farm spread from Dexter Ann Arbor Road to the Huron River.

Trails in Delhi Metropark are paved, mostly flat with minimal grade changes.
