Quartz Mountain Distillers started with a simple idea: if you're going to put your name on a bottle, you should know everything that went into it. We're a family-owned craft distillery in Vancouver, Washington, and from day one we've believed that great spirits come from doing the work yourself. We don't source spirits from somewhere else and put our label on it. We start with grain grown by Washington farmers, then mash, ferment, distill, age, and bottle it right here in our distillery. That's what grain-to-glass means to us. It's not a marketing phrase, it's simply how we've chosen to do things. Our first bourbon barrels were filled in the spring of 2020, and while those barrels quietly matured, we stayed busy crafting a diverse lineup of spirits. Today, alongside our bourbon and whiskey, we produce handcrafted gin, vodka, flavored vodkas, and flavored shines. Each is made with the same attention to detail and commitment to quality that defines everything we create. Living in the Pacific Northwest gives us access to incredible ingredients and an amazing community of growers, makers, and small businesses. We take pride in using Washington-grown grain whenever possible because supporting local isn't just something we say, it's part of who we are. We also love exploring new ideas. Whether it's finishing whiskey in wine barrels from a neighboring winery or partnering with local breweries on unique barrel projects, we're always looking for ways to create something memorable while staying true to our roots. But what means the most to us isn't the awards or the bottles on the shelf. It's seeing people gather around a table, a campfire, or a backyard barbecue, pouring a glass and making memories with family and friends. We believe the best spirits aren't meant to sit unopened. They're meant to bring people together. When you visit our tasting room, you're not walking into a corporate brand. You're walking into a family business built on hard work, patience, and a genuine love for the craft.
