Staebler Farm County Park is a wonderful new community asset currently under development. Purchased in 2001 from Mr. Donald Staebler and the Heidt Family Trust, the property is a prime example of a late 19th/early 20th farmstead once common in Washtenaw County.

Staebler Farm County Park is in the first phase of development. Access is only permitted south of Plymouth Road.

Schroeter Park is a 37.2 acre park in Superior Township. It is an undeveloped park filled with wildflowers, trees, trails, and natural beauty. Horseback riders, cross-country skiers, and walkers enjoy spending time in this park at all times of the year.

Kosch Headwaters Preserve's wonderful maple-beech woodland is home to many mature beech. The rather uncommon blue ash is found in relative abundance on the western portion of the site. Wetlands, seasonal streams, and a spring flowing out of the maple-beech woodland all contribute to the headwaters of Fowler Creek which ultimately flows into the Rouge River, hence the name "headwaters."

Fox Hills features a three golf courses, a learning center with PGA/LPGA instructors, and two clubhouses and an outdoor venue to accommodate meetings and events.

Get some fresh air in beautiful open spaces, a bit of exercise and a feeling of normalcy with 63 holes of golf at Fox Hills in Plymouth; easily accessible off of M-14.

With extra steps to sanitize carts between each round, you’ll have the chance to enjoy a round with friends & family, while still keeping your safe distance.

Clubhouses are closed for public dining, but you can still grab food and drinks (including alcohol) to take out on the course with you.

Fox Hills Golf and Conference Center

The Cherry Hill Nature Preserve is 160 acres of diverse terrain, including rolling hills, wetlands, part of Fleming Creek, meadow and woods. The preserve is approximately one half mile square.

The land is owned by Superior Township and open to the public. Some walking paths have been created (look for a trail map in the map box at the main entrance).

The wildlife population here is as diverse as the terrain, with a resident owl population, as well as many wetland bird species, including warblers, and bluebirds.

**Dixboro House**

Dixboro House was carved out of the bones of the original barn structure, originally erected in 1880, and utilized as a restaurant beginning in the 1920's. The century-old barn has been restored to feature exposed 140-year-old timbers, a gambrel vaulted ceiling and the original stone fireplace and modern kitchen and barn providing a familiar comfort for our guests. The menu at Dixboro House, like the dining room itself, is refined and rustic for lunch and dinner.

The Boro is our side door all-day café featuring woodfired pizzas, takeaway meals, a full range of expertly produced baked goods, Roos Roast coffee, adult beverages and much, much more.

The Boro is the perfect amenity for someone on the go, or on the grounds. Whether you are looking to bring some of our gourmet offerings to the comfort of your home or office, or to stay on site and enjoy our sprawling acreage in search of your favorite new place to picnic.

The Dixboro Project

Looking for a great Michigan Golf challenge? Look no further than Hickory Creek Golf Club! Hickory Creek Golf Course is one of the finest public golf courses in Southeastern Michigan. Hickory Creek offers a variety of golf challenges from tight, tree lined, contoured holes to the well protected, signature island green of hole #17. Hickory Creek Golf Course also offers a few straightforward golf holes that will allow the average golfer to feel good about their game.

Dominican Meadows Preserve contains forests, wetlands, and grasslands along nearly two miles of Fleming Creek, a major tributary to the Huron River. The natural areas contain varying habitats with notable older-growth forests and wet meadows.

The scenic hills and varying topography of Dominican Meadows Preserve have been showcased in the initial trail design. The current trail length is just under one mile and gains 70’+ in elevation.

The Dixboro Farmers Market is dedicated to supporting local growers and producers through the creation of a vibrant marketplace that is welcoming to all members of our surrounding community. The market aims to preserve both the area's agricultural history and foster innovation, while meeting the demands of area residents for additional opportunities to purchase local, fresh food. Open Fridays 3:30 - 7:30 pm May through October.

Dixboro Farmers Market

For a good hiking opportunity close to the city of Ann Arbor, the Goodrich Preserve is the perfect spot. The neighboring Horner Woods complex - used primarily by U of M for research, teaching, and fieldwork - is dominated by old-growth forest that grades from hilltop oak-hickory on the eastern Goodrich property to maple-mixed Hardwoods covering rich central valleys.

Native shrubs, predominantly buttonbush, surround several small wetlands and fill a large swamp that separates much of the woodland from the M-14 freeway. The central portion of this forest, known for its outstanding spring wildflower displays, is preserved by U-M as a plant sanctuary.
