If you didn’t grow up in a family where get-togethers happen over smoked meats, you might not get it. But you don’t have to. What you need to know, is that this is what we do. It’s not fancy. It ain’t pretty. It’s barbecue. A few years back we started doing competitions, and it didn’t take long for a hobby to turn into a job. We made a name for ourselves as men who’ll pick a bone with anyone sayin’ you can’t find ribs outside Memphis or brisket outside Texas. When we finally claimed the top spot as Utah’s best competition BBQ team, a position we still proudly hold, we felt it was time to open a business. There’s nothin’ fast about our food, in fact, it’s downright slow. Mom taught us way back when, with the aid of her most menacing wooden spoon—that if you’re going to do something, you do it right or you don’t do it at all. Dad was a meat cutter and taught us only to use the best of the best and that when you take shortcuts, you get lost. So we don’t do fast food, we do good food. And by good food, we mean the finest barbeque to ever hit you in the lips. It’s why we’re up before the early bird putting an edge on our ax and splitting perfectly seasoned blocks of hardwood. It’s why the middle-of-the-road is a place we’ve never been. Where we’re from, we don’t need secret ingredients—just some smoke, fire and a little patience. Edison House is the brainchild of co-founder brothers George Cardon-Bystry and Charlie Cardon. George and Charlie are 8th generation Utahns who grew up in Salt Lake City but left for a decade to explore and experience some of the country’s most dynamic cities. During their time away, the brothers gained a deeper appreciation for the importance of a strong social network and real community connection, and how challenging both can be to find and foster. The arts, culture, and vibrancy that define Big City Living inspired them to bring that energy back home to Salt Lake. The Cardon brothers and the Edison House team are on a mission to build something new and dynamic in downtown SLC: a community of thoughtful go-getters, where members build meaningful friendships, expand their horizons, and feel at home.

S&S Presents has hosted concerts in the Salt Lake valley since 2007. Beginning with backyard shows at our first venue, Kilby Court, S&S has grown immensely over the last twenty years and currently produces over 1000+ concerts a year throughout multiple venues in Salt Lake City. Our company focus is to create meaningful experiences for artists and fans. We aim to provide SLC with access to life-changing live music opportunities, as well as giving artists hospitable and professional experiences. In addition to showcasing local talent, S&S Presents hosts groundbreaking independent touring artists in primarily 200 to 7,000 capacity venues, as well as select large-scale music festivals and concert series. Squatters has been creating award-winning cuisine and beer since 1989. Featuring daily specials and traditional pub favorites such as bacon topped meatloaf and a delicious array of burgers, and of course award-winning craft beer, Squatters is Salt Lake's premier brew pub. We offer lunch, dinner, late night dining and weekend brunch with private event space available that can accommodate from 30 - 450 guests. Originally founded in Salt Lake City in 1884, Fisher Brewing Company has returned as an employee owned, community-focused craft brewery. Located in the Granary District of Salt Lake City, we serve fine ales and lagers on draft in our brewery taproom featuring a rotating cast of local food trucks.

We have a range of event spaces for private events including a rooftop patio, event space room with full AV, stage and catering access and a private taproom bar.
