About Florence Area Sports Council

Tournaments are serious business for the Florence (SC) Area Sports Council. From E-Sports to Horseshoes and traditional sports in-between, we can host it all!

Florence hosts so many successful sports events because of its quality facilities. Construction is complete on the City of Florence's new $15 million baseball and track complex. The new complex provides 6 additional baseball fields to the area's inventory, including home of the Florence Flamingos, Carolina Bank Field.

The $7 million, 10-field Florence Soccer Complex built in 2017 features regulation-size soccer fields, two of which are lighted. The Florence Soccer Complex hosts soccer, flag football, cross country, and lacrosse, but the possibilities are endless!

The three-court Pearl Moore Gymnasium features two synthetic floor courts and one wood floor court making it the perfect spot for pickleball, basketball or volleyball.

The Dr. Eddie Floyd Florence Tennis Center was named both the USTA South Carolina and USTA Southern Tennis Facility of the Year in 2014. The facility is home to the McLeod for Health Florence Open, a USTA Pro Circuit event and the USTA SC State Mixed Doubles Tournament. The Florence Tennis Association hosts over 20 tournaments annually.

Looking for an arena? We've got you covered at the Florence Center. The 10,000-seat arena is perfect for basketball, gymnastics, volleyball and more, and offers the perfect banquet spaces for opening ceremonies. Over 60,000 square feet of multi-purpose space provides an excellent venue for sports conventions.
