Located in Metro Atlanta, Gwinnett County, Georgia is home to several state-of-the-art sports facilities, including Gas South Arena, Gas South Convention Center, Coolray Field, TPC Sugarloaf, and more. These venues have hosted major sporting events such as professional sports, NCAA Championships, SEC Championships, and a variety of other sporting events across all levels.

Gwinnett also offers several privately owned facilities, like Suwanee Sports Academy and Life Time Peachtree Corners (a tennis and pickleball club), that host events featuring teams and competitors from across the country. The Gwinnett County Parks & Recreation department has been named as the #1 parks and recreation department in the nation by the National Parks Association and has some of the best facilities in the country.&#x20;

The 2026 LCS Championship Driven by Kia brings the LCS Summer Finals to Gas South Arena in Duluth, Georgia, just outside Atlanta, on October 3–4, 2026. North America’s best League of Legends teams will compete in high-stakes championship matches, with one team claiming the LCS Championship trophy and the top three earning a place at the 2026 World Championship. Fans can enjoy Fan Fest activities, a pre-show, and live games beginning at 4:00 PM each day.

Peachtree RYC/RJCC is a USA Fencing regional tournament for youth, cadet, and junior fencers, taking place October 3–4, 2026, at Suwanee Sports Academy in Suwanee, Georgia. The competition features a full schedule of foil, epee, and saber events across Y8, Y10, Y12, Y14, Cadet, and Junior age categories. Hosted by Elite Fencing Academy USA and supported by experienced bout committee staff and licensed national and international referees, the event offers 36 grounded strips, video replay for the final strip, on-time event starts, and no flighted events.

Peachtree RYC/RJCC

The Amateur Sports Act of 1978 specifically named the United States Olympic Committee (USOC) as the coordinating body for amateur athletic activity in the U.S. directly relating to international Olympic athletic competition. The Act included provisions for recognizing National Governing Bodies (NGBs) for the sports on the programs of the Olympic and Pan American Games.

USA Fencing is the recognized NGB for the sport of fencing in the United States. USA Fencing was founded in 1891 as the Amateur Fencers League of America (AFLA) by a group of New York fencers seeking independence from the Amateur Athletic Union. The AFLA changed its name to the United States Fencing Association in 1981.

USA Fencing is affiliated with the Féderation Internationale d'Escrime(FIE), the international federation for fencing founded in Paris in 1913.

USA Fencing was incorporated as a non-profit corporation in Pennsylvania in 1964 and in Colorado in 1993 in compliance with the Amateur Sports Act and opened its national office in Colorado Springs, Colo. in August of 1982.

The 2026 AARP Georgia Southern Seniors Georgia State Championships is a 50+ pickleball tournament presented by AARP and hosted by Southern Pickleball at LIFE TIME Peachtree Corners in Peachtree Corners/Norcross, Georgia, October 10–11, 2026. Players will compete in men’s and women’s doubles on Saturday and mixed doubles on Sunday, with DUPR-rated divisions from 2.5 through 4.5 and age groups for 50–59, 60–69, 70–79, and 80+. Designed for experienced senior players, the event combines competitive matches, camaraderie, and a first-class tournament experience, with a minimum four-match guarantee per team per event.

The Southern Pickleball Association is dedicated to growing the sport of pickleball across the United States by offering affordable, professionally managed amateur events and supporting local pickleball communities. Since our inception in 2021, we have proudly become a cornerstone of community, camaraderie, and competition in the southeast, setting a new standard for what it means to run pickleball tournaments.

With nearly 200 tournaments hosted and over 30,000 players on our courts over the past 4 years, Southern Pickleball continues to bring people together through the joy of the game, fostering connections both on and off the court.
