About Dallas Sports Commission

The Dallas Sports Commission (DSC) is proud to play a role in this recognition and contributes to this ranking by attracting hundreds of sporting events, competitions, and conferences to the greater Dallas region.

The DSC has welcomed over 6.25 million event attendees in its lifetime and has been heavily involved with the planning and execution of major sporting events in Dallas since 2014. The current major event resume includes the NFL Draft, NHL Draft, 2016 and 2022 WrestleMania, 2017 and 2023 NCAA Women's Final Four and the College Football Playoff National Championship. Since its inception, the DSC has hosted over 450 events worth an estimated $3.3 billion in economic impact.

DART RAIL, TRINITY RAILWAY EXPRESS (TRE) and BUS services moves more than 200,000 passengers per day across a 700-square-mile service area. DART rail connects its passengers to more than 65 stations across the greater Dallas region and the TRE commuter line provides a direct route to downtown Fort Worth. DART offers Two-Hour Passes, Midday Passes, Day Passes, 7-Day Passes, and Monthly Passes.

Fun fact: DART light rail is the longest light rail system in the country, spanning 93 miles.
