The Swan Lake Visitor's Center is home to the Sumter Convention and Visitors Bureau (CVB) Office, whose mission is to identify and evaluate all sources of present and future tourism, and to make every effort to encourage, promote, advertise and foster the growth of tourism throughout the private and public sectors. The nearest airport to Sumter is Florence (FLO). However, there are better options for getting to Sumter. You can take a bus from Charlotte (CLT) to Sumter via Asheville, Swannanoa River Rd at Fairview Rd, Tunnel Rd at Ingles, Asheville, and Columbia.
