We have over 80 parks and recreation areas to enjoy. Westwood Hills Nature Center offers a new, state-of-the-art interpretive center with educational exhibits and live animals, including a red tailed hawk and a barred owl. Try your hand at fishing or go canoeing on the lake. Or visit Theodore Wirth Regional Park and the Eloise Butler Wildflower Garden and Bird Sanctuary or the Quaking Bog. The park also features hiking trails, mountain and fat tire bike trails, cross-country skiing, tubing, snowshoeing and snowboarding, a swimming beach, fishing pier, sand volleyball, two golf courses and a disc golf course.

Families will love all the fun attractions. Make a splash at the Aquatic Park or bring the little ones to the Oak Hill Splash Pad. Go bowling and play arcade games at The Park Tavern or roller skating at the Roller Garden. Play detective and solve the mystery before time runs out at Escape MSP and play your favorite TV game shows at Game Show Battle Rooms. The entire family will love REM5 VR Lab, where you can paint in 3D, swim with whales, battle space pirates and so much more. Explore the Pavek Museum next door and learn about the history of electronic communication or visit the Nordic Ware factory store, home of the bundt pan. Try your hand at lawn bowling and relax by the outdoor fire pit at Brookview Golf and Lawn Bowling. Other popular activities include skateboarding at 3rd Lair Indoor SkatePark and ice skating at the Rec Center or ROC.

Explore St. Louis Park's West End, a popular shopping, dining and entertainment hub. Catch a movie or dine on the patio at Rojo Mexican Grill, The Local Irish Pub, CRAVE American Kitchen & Sushi Bar or Yard House. Eat like a local at JJ's Clubhouse, Bunny's Bar & Grill, The Park Tavern or McCoy's Public House - all with big screen TV's for watching the game. Discover a world of flavors at Lat14 Asian Eatery, Mexico City Café and Wok in the Park. Kids will love the donuts and baked goods at Valley Pastries and Angel Food Bakery, not to mention the artisan cheesecake at Muddy Paws Cheesecake.
