FUJI BJJ presents the St. Louis Fall Classic. We are dedicated to bringing you the best tournament experience possible. Our tournament series offer divisions for any age, weight, skill level, as well as GI and NOGI divisions.

**TOURNAMENT DETAILS:** 

### This is a two day event.

#### Day 1 (Saturday):

-Male - Adult/Master Divisions - Gi & Nogi (16+)

#### Day 2 (Sunday):

-Kids Divisions - Gi & Nogi (4-15)

##### All Day 2 competitors have the option to weigh in early, on Saturday from noon to 3pm.

**Format:** Depending on the bracket size we offer best of three, round robin, and modified double elimination brackets to ensure everyone gets more than one match.

Check Day (last day to change weight without fee) is the Wednesday before the event.

Merging of uncontested divisions will happen the Wednesday before the event.

The schedule will be published the Thursday before the event.

## SPECTATOR FEE:

All spectators over the age of 12 years old must have a spectator pass.  Passes may be purchased at the door upon entry of the venue.

* Spectator fee: $20.

**Each academy will receive at least 1 free coaches pass. The amount of free passes depends on how many students from that academy are registered for the event. At least 1 free pass per 5 students will be available. Coaches do not need to message in before the event.**

FUJI BJJ St. Louis Fall Classic

The FUJI Jiu-Jitsu Championships is a nation-wide tournament series. FUJI BJJ was founded by Royler Gracie Black Belt and Pan American Champion, JW Wright. JW has been hosting jiu-jitsu events for over 15 years throughout the Midwest.

Today, Eagle Fork Farms is a go-to destination, featuring a pumpkin patch alongside an eight-acre corn maze, pony rides and a barrel train ride. Visitors can also mine for 20 types of precious and semi-precious stones, get their faces painted, pedal karts down a racetrack and shoot apples or tennis balls out of a cannon.</p>

This annual community-wide night of trick-or-treating features local businesses getting into the Halloween spirit by handing out candy to the kiddos of Kirkwood. Kirkwood City Hall will hand out candy from 4 to 5 p.m., while supplies last, before the main event in the heart of Downtown Kirkwood from 5 to 7 p.m. The Kirkwood Police will be closing Kirkwood Road from Monroe to Adams and East and West Argonne and Jefferson for the safety of the event’s participants.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">“PrideFest is always a good time,” Jordan Braxton, an educator and advocate for LGBTQIA+ rights, says. “Last year, the festival drew more than 325,000 people to <a href="https://explorestlouis.com/neighborhood/downtown-st-louis/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">downtown St. Louis</a>, and this year, we’re expecting a similarly sized crowd – plus, the same great energy!”</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Vendors will dot the Gateway Mall between Tucker Boulevard and 15th Street, and The Hive will welcome people aged 25 and younger to talk, listen, dance and unleash their pride in a safe space.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">In 2026, PrideFest will charge $10 for general admission, or you can splurge on a VIP pass, which includes festival admission, premium viewing of the main stage, all-inclusive food and drinks, a special guest DJ presented by Smirnoff, access to an air-conditioned tent and private bathrooms and tropical beach party vibes.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">The spirited celebrations will culminate in the Grand Pride Parade on June 28, which remains free to attend. Beginning at noon, the procession will travel down Market Street from 8th to 18th streets.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">“We usually have between 175 and 200 entries,” Braxton, who is also the parade director, says. “Local companies, organizations, nonprofits and elected officials participate alongside national companies.”</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">BandTogether, St. Louis’ LGBTQIA+ band and color guard comprised of volunteers, leads the way, setting the tone for the parade, and most floats blast music and hand out beads, T-shirts, cups and tchotchkes.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">“PrideFest is an opportunity for everyone to get together to celebrate our uniqueness,” she continues. “There are so many times when people in the queer community don’t get to live authentic lives because of their families or their jobs or their hometowns. There’s so much misinformation about our community circulating, and the hate that some people feel is unnecessary because we’re just trying to live our lives. It’s a shame that queer people don’t always get to do that, and that’s why PrideFest is so important. PrideFest is a time when we can celebrate, support and uplift each other.”</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">PrideFest has been spreading love, joy and pops of color across St. Louis since 1980. It continues to grow, reinforcing its mission to foster an understanding and a tolerance of the LGBTQIA+ community by raising awareness through educational programs and events leading up to the annual PrideFest in St. Louis.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">A carnival kicks off the <a href="https://www.heritageandfreedomfest.com/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Heritage &amp; Freedom Fest</a> in O’Fallon, Missouri. Boasting rides, games and traditional foods such as corn dogs, funnel cakes, cotton candy and popcorn, the carnival will delight kids and adults alike. The Heritage &amp; Freedom Fest prides itself on bringing national recording artists to the St. Louis region for free concerts as well, and this year won’t be any different. In honor of the nation’s birthday, the festival also includes one of the largest – and most colorful – parades in the region, along with a spectacular firework display.</p>
