South Shore CVA Sponsors 41st America’s Race Series

June 2nd, 2024 was Leon’s Triathlon, the first of two events in America’s Race Series, honoring our country’s heroes, our veterans. Founded in 1983 by Leon Wolek and family, this was the 41st annual race, which is held at Wolf Lake Park in Hammond Indiana. The next series event, an obstacle course, will be held on September 8th, 2024 at the Indiana Dunes National Park. South Shore Sports of South Shore CVA is a proud sponsor of this long-running event.

Crown Point (Indiana) Sportsplex breaks ground on $1M improvement project to install TURF infields

Our friends at the Crown Point (Indiana) Sportsplex have broken ground on a $1 million improvement project that will include replacing existing ballfield infields with synthetic TURF! When the project is complete, 9 of the 12 infields will have TURF! Congrats to the City of Crown Point!
