Bogus Basin: Fun for all Seasons

Bogus Basin is so close to Boise, yet feels so far away. Just 16 miles away from the bustle of the city, this recreation area is completely surrounded by mountains and wilderness. It’s most famous for skiing, but has activities for every season. Shafer Butte and the surrounding landscape are what make up Bogus Basin.
