By Road:
Major highways that access the county are I-70, I-270, US 15, US 40, US 40A and US 340. Frederick County’s highway network makes the county easily accessible by automobile and motor coach. Greyhound Bus has a terminal at Downtown Frederick’s MARC commuter rail station.

By Air:
Ronald Reagan Washington National, Dulles International, and Baltimore/Washington International Airports are less than an hour's drive away. The Frederick Municipal Airport also serves general aviation.
