The Greenville-Pitt County Sports Commission’s established partnerships with East Carolina University, the Greenville Recreation & Parks Department, and the Greenville Convention Center Campus allow us to host events at state of-the-art D1 fields and facilities, utilize Greenville’s 25+ parks and recreation facilities, access 91,000 square feet of flexible indoor event space, and more. Greenville and Pitt County are home to many parks, fields, and facilities that can accommodate athletic events across a wide variety of indoor and outdoor sports. Whether you’re into softball, flag football, soccer, dance, or other sports, we have multiple options for your next event!

Greenville can be found in the center of Pitt County, along the beautiful Tar River in Eastern North Carolina’s Inner Banks, approximately 85 miles east of the state capital of Raleigh and 87 miles west of the Atlantic Ocean. Our area’s numerous waterways offer opportunities for boating, kayaking, fishing, hiking, camping, and birding. Our community is also fortunate to have one of the most extensive recreation and greenway systems in the region, including 324 acre River Park North, the Greenville Town Common, and Greenville Greenway System, which visitors and residents can enjoy during all four seasons every year thanks to our relatively mild climate.

Most major Southeastern metropolitan areas are within a day’s drive of Greenville, which is accessible from the east and west via I-587, and north and south via I-95. These cities include Raleigh, Atlanta, Wilmington, Greensboro, Virginia Beach, Myrtle Beach, Richmond, Baltimore, Charlotte and Washington, D.C. Located in the city of Greenville is the Pitt-Greenville Airport, which is served by American Airlines. Greenville is less than a 100 mile drive from Raleigh and RDU International Airport, which is served by most major airlines.
