Today is National Girls & Women in Sports Day! 🎉 The Lansing area is full of amazing female athletes and people who continue to advocate for equality for women in sports. We caught up with a few local women to see what this day means to them, who inspires them, and what advice they have for young women in sports.

#throwback to the 2023 Michigan Foosball State Championships that took place at the Hilton Garden Inn Lansing West!⁠ This event drew competitors from across the country to Lansing, Michigan last October. ⁠We are proud to work with events of all kinds. For athletes who love the outdoors, the Lansing area is full of winter activities to experience during downtime! ❄⁠ ⁠ Go cross country skiing or snowshoeing at Lake Lansing North, try ice skating at Meridian Township’s or Reutter Park’s synthetic rinks, or rent a snow tube at Burchfield Park! ⛸⁠

The Capital City Tennis Classic is underway this week at the MSU Tennis Center! 🎾 The MSU Tennis Center offers eight courts and seats up to 1200 people. It’s a great place to watch this annual professional men’s tennis tournament!
