Saturday - Coulee Crusher Gravel Race followed by Short Track Race The ORA Trails Coulee Crusher on May 23, is a traditional gravel race, featuring a mostly gravel course through the sandstone bluffs of southeastern Minnesota. As part of our ORA Trails Fest weekend in La Crosse, this event will complement the existing mountain bike racing in Hixon Forest, just a few miles to the east of the starting line in La Crescent, MN.

Taking place on gravel roads that share geographic proximity to iconic former and current races like the Almanzo 100, the Filthy 50, and the 2025 and 2026 Gravel National Championships, few regions are better suited for high quality gravel racing than Southeastern Minnesota. Riders can choose between three routes: 25, 55 or 80 miles in length.

After the Coulee Crusher, join us at short track and race through sweeping meadows and blazing fast double track at Upper Hixon.

Sunday WORS Cross Country Racing Sunday will have a full day of WORS XC racing. Join us on Sunday for the WORS race with courses that will take riders through fast single track on a host of incredible trails at Upper Hixon.

More Trails - Bring the Family! If you bring the whole family and want to venture out without racers around, head to the Gateway Trail System. The Gateway Trails will be available to ride, hike, and sightsee all weekend, with no racing happening there.
