Violinist Julian Rhee returns for Philip Glass’ Violin Concerto No. 1, honoring the composer’s 90th birthday and the 40th anniversary of this iconic work. Stravinsky’s Firebird Suite dazzles with orchestral color and mythic energy. The evening concludes with Rachmaninoff’s Symphonic Dances — a thrilling and bittersweet farewell from a master Romantic.
