Alabama native and stand-up comedian Derrick Stroup brings high-energy storytelling with the cadence of an “angry auctioneer,” delivering vivid, fast-paced tales rooted in his Southern upbringing. A Waffle House enthusiast with a growing national presence, Stroup recently filmed his first Netflix comedy special, *Nostalgic*, which premiered globally on March 10. He’s also a regular at New York City’s Comedy Cellar and performs at clubs across the country.

Stroup made his *Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon* debut in 2023 and returned in 2025.
