Our spectacular new restaurant in Salt Lake City is now open in the heart of Sugarhouse. Our building boasts two dining rooms with floor to ceiling windows, al fresco seating, a large bar, and event space for up to 150 guests. We’re located just steps from the TRAX S-Line Streetcar stop at 900 East. If you’re driving, park in the lot behind us or after 5:30PM parking at the Kimball Office Complex is available exclusively for El Cholo guests. We serve the same famous dishes Los Angelenos have cherished for over 100 years along with some delicious and new chef inspired creations. Parley's Historic Nature Park is an easy, family-friendly walk that is started as an off-leash dog park, but is also a beautiful walk with or without canine friends.

Unlike other dog parks that are often small fields or open areas fenced off and dedicated to letting dogs run around, Parley's Historic Nature Park (also referred to as Tanner Dog Park) is an 87-acre park that is also a wildlife refuge area containing numerous historic sites and plaques. It has multiple trails, and it joins with Parley's Trail for a much longer walking or hiking experience. It follows Parley's Creek and is full of trees and brush, and has beautiful views of the nearby mountains and the bottom of Parley's Canyon.

**Local's recommendation:** This is a popular area any time of year-bring your dog if you can, but if you can't or don't own a dog, you will meet many friendly pups on this walk.

Forest Dale was built in 1906 as the Salt Lake Country Club and holds the distinction of being the oldest golf course in Utah. Forest Dale has undergone several phases of renovation since the City acquired the course in 1935. A major redesign in 1986 maintained the tradition while transporting the course into a contemporary test of golf. Visitor information The Visitor Experience is a self-guided tour with many exhibits for you to see and read about the Bingham Canyon Mine, its history, and operations. We also offer a virtual tour of our operation to continue learning about the Bingham Canyon Mine: [https://www.youvisit.com/tour/riotinto](https://www.youvisit.com/tour/riotinto") Shuttles can accommodate up to 30 guests. Shuttle service to the mine overlook runs 7-days a week starting each day at 9:30 am and runs every 30 minutes with the last shuttle departing at 2:30pm (and returning by 4:00pm). The entire experience takes about an hour but can run longer depending on how long you visit the Bingham Canyon Mine overlook. You are welcome to take pictures of your visit, however professional photography is not allowed. Be prepared for the weather as the Visitor Experience is completely outdoors. The weather at the mine is sometimes different than that of the rest of the Salt Lake Valley. On sunny days, it will be hot. Bring water, sunscreen, and sun protection. If it looks like it may rain, please consider a jacket or umbrella. In the cooler months, be prepared for wind and cold temperatures.
