Utah State Parks and Recreation and the Utah Hang Gliding and Paragliding Association (UHGPGA) are partnering to preserve this unique recreation area that is an excellent site for teaching and gathering experience for flyers of all levels. It is known worldwide as one of the best training sites for both paragliding and hang gliding. Flight Park State Recreation Area is being jointly managed by Utah State Parks and Recreation and the Utah Hang Gliding and Paragliding Association. Please visit the UHGPGA website for more information about flying safety and requirements. Just west of the parking lot, there is also a modelport for RC airplanes and helicopters.

The Utah Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control operates 44 State Liquor and Wine Stores and over 100 package agencies or contract stores across the state. State liquor and wine stores carry a full line of liqueurs, wines, spirits, and some full strength beers.

4.5 mi/7.2 km one-way — In Little Cottonwood Canyon, this trail leads first to an overlook with beautiful views down the canyon, then into a broad meadow and over a ridge to White Pine Lake. The trailhead is located on the south side of Little Cottonwood Road about 5.5 miles up the canyon, (about .7 miles below Snowbird Ski & Summer Resort). There is a parking area, but slow down when you get close, as it’s easy to miss.From the parking lot, walk along the wide service road (closed to vehicles) about 1.25 miles to the overlook. Another .75 miles gets you to the meadow—a good place for a break and a snack. You can turn around here for a round-trip of only 4 miles or continue on the trail for another 2.5 miles to get to the lake (a 9 mile round-trip excursion).

The mill was originally powered by turbin driven water and many of the original equipment remains today. All of our whiskeys start out with the best locally grown and purchased grains we can buy. To date the only grain we are unable to get locally is Malted Barley. Our Corn, Wheat, Oats, Rye and Barley all come from Utah Farms. We ferment our whiskeys using only whiskey yeast strains to produce the best flavors. We distill our spirits on our bubble plate still to get the highest purity and flavor profiles. We use extremely high standards in making our cuts to produce a very smooth and pure product. All of our spirits are hand made from start to finish. Right down to the special formula that I come up with to dipping the top of the bottle (made right here in the distillery).
