18th Capital Showdown Youth Hockey Tournament! •Dates: March 5-7, 2027 • Location: Washington D.C. area/Maryland - Laurel, Bowie, and Odenton • Levels: Travel B, A, AA, and House Select • Ages: U8 – U16 co-ed We aim to create an environment for all participants to unite for 3 days of great hockey. We build competitive divisions, and fun through our on-ice Showdown Skills Event, and give each participant and family a memorable experience to savor for a lifetime. What you get at a Showdown Tournament: • 3 days of hockey • 4 game guarantee • Showdown Skill Event • Showdown Skills medals for 1st, 2nd and 3rd-place teams • Pin Exchange • Player Gift for all players • Family-run, Experienced Tournament Staff • Teams advancing to the championship game receive individual medals Game Structure: • 8U: Half Ice Games; 20-Min Periods: Clock Stop Every 2 Minutes, 4x4 • 10U-16U: Three 13-minute Clock Periods
