A large pond in the western part of the park offers a lovely view for a walk, but that's not all the park has to offer. There are also seven pavilions for group gatherings; soccer and baseball fields; a large, cement basketball court donated by the Utah Jazz; two playgrounds; a small amphitheater; seven volleyball courts, and a sleigh-riding hill.

In the winter, the hill provides a great place to ride sleds or tubes. Just dress warm, bring your own tube, and ride away!

Glendale Golf Course

Our spectacular new restaurant in Salt Lake City is now open in the heart of Sugarhouse. Our building boasts two dining rooms with floor to ceiling windows, al fresco seating, a large bar, and event space for up to 150 guests. We’re located just steps from the TRAX S-Line Streetcar stop at 900 East. If you’re driving, park in the lot behind us or after 5:30PM parking at the Kimball Office Complex is available exclusively for El Cholo guests. Forest Dale was built in 1906 as the Salt Lake Country Club and holds the distinction of being the oldest golf course in Utah. Forest Dale has undergone several phases of renovation since the City acquired the course in 1935. A major redesign in 1986 maintained the tradition while transporting the course into a contemporary test of golf. Today, it's a challenging course with several small, original table-top greens that place a premium on accuracy.
