The AJGA Albany Junior presented by UHY is a premier junior golf tournament hosted at the historic Normanside Country Club in Delmar, New York. This Open Series and Junior-Am event runs August 18–21, 2026, welcoming boys and girls ages 12–19 for a 54-hole stroke-play competition with a 36-hole cut. With a field of 96 top junior golfers, the tournament offers Performance Based Entry opportunities and showcases elite junior talent on a championship-caliber course rated 72.3/134 (boys) and 74.6/140 (girls).

AJGA Albany Junior presented by UHY

The American Junior Golf Association is a 501(c)(3) non-profit association dedicated to the overall growth of young men and women who aspire to earn college golf scholarships.  With over 10,000 members ages 12-19 from 50 states and 60 foreign countries, the AJGA will conduct over 250 championships this year from January to December.  Each year AJGA seniors secure more than $26 million dollars in athletic and academic scholarships from participating in the AJGA. Through initiatives like the Liberty National Achieving Competitive Excellence (ACE) Grant, a financial assistance program, and Leadership Links, a service-oriented platform that teaches juniors charitable-giving skills, the AJGA fosters the growth of golf’s next generation. AJGA is open to explore new opportunities domestically and internationally. At this time, there is a strong priority to bring new events to the Western Region.
