The Sunoco Junior Championship, hosted by the American Junior Golf Association, brings together top junior golfers aged 12–19 for a premier 54-hole stroke-play tournament at Crumpin-Fox Club in Bernardston, Massachusetts. Over three days in late August 2026, competitors will navigate a challenging 72-par course designed for both boys and girls, with field sizes capped at 72 players. This Open Series event offers Performance Based Entry opportunities and is a key stop on the AJGA circuit, where rising stars can showcase their skills and vie for exemptions and performance stars. Sunoco Junior Championship

The American Junior Golf Association is a 501(c)(3) non-profit association dedicated to the overall growth of young men and women who aspire to earn college golf scholarships.  With over 10,000 members ages 12-19 from 50 states and 60 foreign countries, the AJGA will conduct over 250 championships this year from January to December.  Each year AJGA seniors secure more than $26 million dollars in athletic and academic scholarships from participating in the AJGA. Through initiatives like the Liberty National Achieving Competitive Excellence (ACE) Grant, a financial assistance program, and Leadership Links, a service-oriented platform that teaches juniors charitable-giving skills, the AJGA fosters the growth of golf’s next generation. AJGA is open to explore new opportunities domestically and internationally. At this time, there is a strong priority to bring new events to the Western Region.
