The AJGA Junior at Red Rock presented by Rapid City Sports Commission is a premier junior golf tournament open to boys and girls ages 12–19. Held September 3–6, 2026, at the Golf Club at Red Rock in Rapid City, South Dakota, this 54-hole stroke-play event offers both Open Series and Junior-Am classifications. With a field size of 78 players, it provides a competitive platform for rising golf talent, featuring a challenging 72-par course rated 74.3/147 for boys and 75.2/141 for girls. Entry is open to AJGA members and qualifiers, with key deadlines including the tournament application by July 28 and payment due by August 2.

AJGA Junior at Red Rock presented by Rapid City Sports Commission

The American Junior Golf Association is a 501(c)(3) non-profit association dedicated to the overall growth of young men and women who aspire to earn college golf scholarships.  With over 10,000 members ages 12-19 from 50 states and 60 foreign countries, the AJGA will conduct over 250 championships this year from January to December.  Each year AJGA seniors secure more than $26 million dollars in athletic and academic scholarships from participating in the AJGA. Through initiatives like the Liberty National Achieving Competitive Excellence (ACE) Grant, a financial assistance program, and Leadership Links, a service-oriented platform that teaches juniors charitable-giving skills, the AJGA fosters the growth of golf’s next generation. AJGA is open to explore new opportunities domestically and internationally. At this time, there is a strong priority to bring new events to the Western Region.
