Edison House is the brainchild of co-founder brothers George Cardon-Bystry and Charlie Cardon. George and Charlie are 8th generation Utahns who grew up in Salt Lake City but left for a decade to explore and experience some of the country’s most dynamic cities. During their time away, the brothers gained a deeper appreciation for the importance of a strong social network and real community connection, and how challenging both can be to find and foster. The arts, culture, and vibrancy that define Big City Living inspired them to bring that energy back home to Salt Lake. The Cardon brothers and the Edison House team are on a mission to build something new and dynamic in downtown SLC: a community of thoughtful go-getters, where members build meaningful friendships, expand their horizons, and feel at home.

**Opened Feb 14, 2025 at the Gateway in Downtown Salt Lake.**

A project of the nonprofit Utah Arts Alliance, Dreamscapes is born from the imaginations of more than 100 artists, builders and audio-visual wizards. Perhaps most incredible, Dreamscapes is built using upcycled and reclaimed materials, making this Utah’s first environmentally- sustainable attraction. With partnerships from amazing organizations like 3 Form, Salt Palace Convention Center, Habitat for Humanity’s Restore and others, Dreamscapes diverts tons of waste from the landfill. The end result is a vision of beauty that knows no bounds, a manifestation all dreamers can embrace.

The immersive experience follows a dream-inspired storyline to be followed through a polychromatic labyrinth designed by artists, volunteers and audio-visual wizards. The new location is five times bigger and infinitely dreamier. Dreamscapes is appropriate for all ages!

Annual memberships are available for individuals, duos and families. Memberships include free admission to Dreamscapes for one year, presale access to Dreamscapes live performances, invitations to new exhibit preview parties and custom Dreamscapes swag. Dreamscapes

Flanker Kitchen & Sporting Club is an adults-only venue (21+) that spans over 17,500 square feet and features a variety of unique spaces including a polished casual restaurant, three distinctive bars, and 40+ TVs and 2 jumbo LED screens. The venue offers a lively atmosphere with private karaoke and sports simulator rooms, a central sporting club/nightclub, and an exclusive cocktail lounge known as The Parlor. The restaurant serves up elevated American cuisine made from scratch, paired with a selection of spirits and local craft beers. Special weekend brunches offer indulgent breakfast dishes and shared plates. The Sporting Club is the go-to spot for viewing major sporting events on weekends, complete with special food and drink options. On Friday and Saturday nights, the venue transforms into a vibrant social hub featuring top DJs and live music. The newest edition of the parlor, The Hidden Boot Saloon, offers a sophisticated cocktail experience curated by cocktail expert Francesco Lafranconi, and a western country theme built into a speakeasy setting.

Flanker Kitchen & Sporting Club

Located across from Temple Square and other tourist attractions, City Creek Center offers a mix of luxury retailers, unique-to-market stores and trusted brands, from Louis Vuitton, Coach, Kendra Scott and Tiffany & Co. to Salomon and Lululemon, as well as Nordstrom and Macy's. City Creek Center also offers a variety of dining options, including Brio Tuscan Grille and a food court with 12 distinct eateries, including local favorites such as A Taste of Red Iguana and Bocata.

City Creek Center is a must-see attraction, with a fully tractable glass roof that opens and closes, unique to any shopping center in the United States. A pedestrian sky bridge over Main Street unifies the center on two city blocks. Water features include a creek that runs through the center, a fish pond with local trout and waterfalls. The America First Credit Union Fountain offers hourly shows and feature shows with three choreographed songs at 7 pm and 9 pm. Fire elements are added to the fountain shows after dusk.

The Tasting Room

Located in downtown Salt Lake City and the home court of the NBA Utah Jazz. The building originally opened as the Delta Center on Oct. 7, 1991. With seating capacity of about 20,000, the facility is the largest, most high-tech arena within a five-state radius and was built faster than any other arena at the time of its construction in 15 months and 24 days. The basketball court is named in honor of Larry H. Miller who spearheaded the construction of the building.

The building has played host to the 1993 NBA All-Star Weekend, two NBA Finals, the NCAA men’s basketball tournament, the 1999 U.S. Figure Skating Championships, as well as figure skating and short track speed skating events at the 2002 Olympic Winter Games. The arena has featured some of the biggest names in the music world with Garth Brooks, U2, Taylor Swift and The Rolling Stones among the largest concert draws in the arena’s history. Family-friendly events such as Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus, Disney on Ice and Days of ’47 Rodeo also make annual appearances. The arena hosts about 1.8 million guests and more than 100 sports and entertainment events each year.

In the last five years, about $25 million has been injected into arena improvements. With an emphasis on enhancing the fan experience, upgrades have included an improved public address system, enlarged concourse entries with retail and food offerings, digital direction and concessions signage, the addition of the Legends Club, Fanzz stores and the expansion of the main team store, and numerous energy efficiency projects. The most significant improvement was a $15 million investment prior to the 2013-14 season for the installation of a new high definition video display system and other building infrastructure.
