Diversity Thrift is approximately 15,000 square feet of cool stuff and great bargains. New items are added daily, everything from clothing to toys to furniture to tools to home goods and more! Since its inception, Diversity Richmond has donated over $1 Million to local non-profits, largely through the success of Diversity Thrift and the generosity of those who donate merchandise to Diversity Thrift. Thanks to our donors, customers, volunteers, and staff, Diversity Thrift continues to support the efforts of Diversity Richmond and thus the wider Richmond community.

What: Oysters the way you like them in a fun, family-friendly festival in Richmond’s Northside. You can get them fried, steamed and raw – or order a po’ boy with homemade remoulade. We’ll have brats and hotdogs ta’ boot. Wine, Beer, Cider and Hard Lemonade, Water, and other refreshments will be available. A day full of live music and a Kids’ Zone, featuring moon-bounces, face painting, and other activities (an all-day pass is available for purchase).

All the events oyster shells will be collected by the Oyster Shell Recycling Program – run by the VCU Rice River Center. The shells will be used to help restore oyster bed habitats in Virginia waterways. Rice Rivers Center will be on hand to answer questions about their programs.
