Connecticut offers a wide variety of venues for all athletic levels, public and private, collegiate and university, state-owned stadiums and arenas that offer tremendous opportunities for regional tournaments and national championships.

Additionally, the Connecticut Convention & Sports Bureau can assist in locating the best venue and introduce you to local contacts & resources via our Connecticut Sports Advisory Board.  

Few destinations can offer the variety of venues, proximity to major regional populations, transportation infrastructure and overall manageability that we can. Connecticut abounds with sporting opportunities and we welcome anyone who wants to take the field.

FUJI BJJ presents the Middletown Fall Championship. We are dedicated to bringing you the best tournament experience possible. Our tournament series offer divisions for any age, weight, skill level, as well as GI and NOGI divisions.

**Format:** Depending on the bracket size we offer best of three, round robin, and modified double elimination brackets to ensure everyone gets more than one match.

**Age Standards:** Age 4 and Up

**All States Welcome!**

## IMPORTANT DATES

Early Bird registration deadline: 12 Sep (11:59 pm)

Normal registration deadline: 10 Oct (11:59 pm)

Late registration deadline: 20 Oct (11:59 pm)

Check Day (last day to change weight without fee) is the Wednesday before the event.

Merging of uncontested divisions will happen the Wednesday before the event.

The schedule will be published the Thursday before the event.

Doors Open/Weigh-ins begin: Day of event (8:00 am)

Matches Begin: Day of event (9:30 am)

You have up to one hour to weigh-in prior to the start of your division. Please update and check Smoothcomp as times may change based on bracket restructuring or how fast/slow the competition is going.

## SPECTATOR FEE:

All spectators over the age of 12 years old must have a spectator pass.  Passes may be purchased at the door upon entry of the venue.

* Spectator fee: $20.

**Each academy will receive at least 1 free coaches pass. The amount of free passes depends on how many students from that academy are registered for the event. At least 1 free pass per 5 students will be available. Coaches do not need to message in before the event.**

FUJI BJJ Middletown Fall Championship

The FUJI Jiu-Jitsu Championships is a nation-wide tournament series. FUJI BJJ was founded by Royler Gracie Black Belt and Pan American Champion, JW Wright. JW has been hosting jiu-jitsu events for over 15 years throughout the Midwest.
