His family was one of the first to arrive from Spain to the Americas. He has been making jewelry since he was a child in his father’s silver shop in Bogota, Colombia and has been teaching jewelry and silversmithing classes at Weber State for 15 years. In addition, he has been featured in The Standard Examiner, The Signpost, KUTV Inside the Story, FOX13 Good Morning Utah, The Salt Project and KTVX Good Things Utah.
