Special Olympics State Floor Hockey Tournament

The Special Olympics Illinois State Floor Hockey Tournament is a dynamic championship event bringing together over 425 athletes for fast-paced, team-based competition. Held annually in Bedford Park, this November tournament showcases athletic skill, teamwork, and sportsmanship through team play and individual skills challenges. Open to the public, spectators can cheer on athletes during the Opening Ceremony at 8:30 AM, team play from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM, and an awards ceremony. Volunteers are welcome to support roles like scorekeeping and event coordination. Join us for an inspiring day of inclusive sportsmanship and community celebration.
