Dixon’s Autumn Harvest Winery is located in the beautiful rolling hills of Chippewa Falls, just a short drive from anywhere in the Chippewa Valley and beyond. The winery offers 15 equally delicious varieties of wine, each produced right here at the winery. With varieties spanning the entire spectrum from white to red and dry to sweet, the winery offers something to delight every palate.

We are a family-owned orchard excited to continue the family tradition of farming an orchard while embracing the friendly atmosphere that has already been created. Pick your own apples, shop the apple products, spend time in the outdoors, and make memories with the family at the orchard!

Family Roots Orchard

Bushel and a Peck Apple Orchard was planted over a century ago and features over 20,000 trees producing over 30 varieties of apples. Located on a scenic ridge between the Eau Claire River Valley and the Chippewa River Valley. In addition to apples, you can enjoy their Pumpkin Patch, Raspberries, and Currant Plantings.

Welcome to Wissota Lodge & Conference Center, Lake Wissota‘s newest event facility. Our newly remodeled facility sits on the east side of scenic Lake Wissota and was formerly known as Reiter’s Steakhouse. Our seating area overlooks Little Lake Wissota and offers a prime view of the evening sunset. Our upgrades to the facility include Wi-Fi connected television displays, top-of-the-line sound system, full service bar and kitchen. Book a reservation for a daytime business meeting or convention, craft retreat, club or team party, bridal shower, baby shower, bachelor or bachelorette party, wedding rehearsal, retirement or graduation party, family reunion and more.

Wissota Lodge

Enjoy fine candlelight dining on beautiful Lake Wissota featuring floor to ceiling windows and offering an ambiance compared to none other in the Chippewa Valley. They offer over fifty entrees featuring beef, pork, poultry, fish, seafood and alligator; plus sandwiches, children's menu, pizza, homemade soup, and an enormous salad bar. Outside seating includes large deck and porch overlooking spacious landscaped backyard featuring waterfalls, spectacular flower gardens, and a great view of the lake. Beaver Creek Reserve brings hiking, wildlife watching and hands-on environmental education together across 400 acres just outside Eau Claire in Fall Creek, Wisconsin. Nearly nine miles of trails pass through upland woods, river-bottom forests, wetlands and savanna, with Beaver Creek and two small trout streams winding through the property. Start inside the Wise Nature Center, then explore the reserve at your own pace or plan a visit around the seasonal Butterfly House, a nature program or an evening at Hobbs Observatory.

### Activities and amenities include:

- Nearly nine miles of hiking trails, with individual routes ranging from approximately one-half mile to two miles
- Wise Nature Center with interactive exhibits about Wisconsin plants, animals and habitats
- Seasonal Butterfly House, generally open from early July through Labor Day
- Hobbs Observatory with free public stargazing on select Saturday evenings from May through October
- Two Nature Nook outdoor play areas

Visitors should check in at the Wise Nature Center before heading onto the trails to pay any applicable entrance fees and review current trail conditions. Dogs and other pets are not permitted on the property or trails, although service animals are welcome. Bicycles and motorized vehicles are also prohibited on the trails.

Traditional Tree Farm

Located along the Eau Claire River near Fall Creek, Big Falls County Park is known for its scenic waterfalls, rocky cascades and sandy riverbanks. The 135-acre park extends across both sides of the river, with separate north and south entrances providing parking and access to picnic areas, trails and views of one of the Eau Claire area’s most recognizable natural landmarks.

Visitors should use caution around the river, rocks and waterfall, as water levels and currents can change. Swimming is at your own risk, and all posted beach closures and water-quality advisories should be followed. Dogs are not permitted in Big Falls County Park.
