In Anika Fajardo’s debut novel, The Many Mothers of Dolores Moore, the main character, a map maker, travels both physically and metaphorically in order to find what she’s looking for. She must also decide whether or not to listen to the Greek chorus of voices that follow her around giving unsolicited advice and opinions.
