Built in 1871 by a German immigrant merchant family as one of the city's first brick homes, the Schlegelmilch House is filled with furnishings typical of the early decades of its long history. The house highlights themes of immigration, class structure, community, and 20th century suburbanization in the Chippewa Valley. A completely improvised, comedic episode of the 90s classic "Are You Afraid of the Dark?" featuring stories around campfires from the Midnight Society that lead to strange tales of encounters with pool ghouls, scary cigar-smoking clowns, and people stuck in a mirror world. Whether you are a Nickelodeon expert or have never seen the original TV show, the show promises to be both weird and hilarious.
