Westgate Sportsman Club, perched in the forests of Western Eau Claire and over-looking the beautiful Chippewa River, offers a variety of shooting sports and a fabulous venue for weddings and events. They have trap, pistol and rifle ranges, an indoor archery in the winter, and an indoor pistol range. they are dedicated to promoting shooting sports and invite you to join. Yearly memberships are $30 for single and $55 for family. They offer full accommodations with a private bar and excellent food. They pride themselves in being accommodating. Coon Fork Park now offers ADA-accessible paddleboat rentals, providing a unique opportunity for individuals with physical disabilities to enjoy time on the water. The Eau Claire County Parks and Forestry Department, in collaboration with the Aging and Disability Resource Center of Eau Claire County, has introduced two hand-pedaled paddleboats. These boats feature hand cranks on one side for accessibility and foot pedals on the other side. A $50 refundable deposit is required at the time of rental. Coon Fork Campground is a county campground located within Cook Fork Lake County Park. The campground has a lake with two beaches and a boat landing (non-motorized crafts allowed). Campsites are private with waterfront and electric sites. Some sites reservable. On-site ranger and quiet hours enforced. Flush toilets and hot showers.
