The artists were paired with significant Downtown buildings, landmarks, and local businesses, creating original artworks inspired by the character, history, and atmosphere of the city. Through painting and observational practice, each artist offers a unique perspective on the built environment and the stories embedded within it.Prior to display at the Civic Museum, the artworks were displayed throughout Downtown Salt Lake City in the windows and lobbies of the buildings that inspired them, transforming the city into a walkable, open-air gallery experience.
