We found this buried treasure, a time capsule rich in early mid-century history. We couldn't just kick sand on it, and unsee it, so we gave it new life! Described by Sunset Magazine as “resurrected as one of the coolest boutique hotels that Arizona has to offer”, the Egyptian was brought back to life to inspire the creative types, the foodies, and the music lovers who like to connect and surround themselves in originality. Downtown Phoenix's latest play station and overnight hub features 47 retro modern rooms, (and an airstream), Chilte, the highly lauded food pop-up turned must-try restaurant, and Egyptian Live, a 250 seat outdoor cocktail bar where folks can imbibe on inventive cocktails, savor the tastes of Chilte-to-go, and enjoy live entertainment.
